Whereas the Boro people are the victims of forced assimilation and their existence and continuity as a people are being threatened;

Whereas all the democratic and peaceful approaches are never understood and respected by the colonial government of India but ruthlessly crushed through military means and evil design;

Whereas all the Nations and Peoples possess the right to self-determination;

The revolutionary patriots, who gathered together on the THIRD October 1986, have formed The Boro Security Force to liberate their inherited land and the people from the Colonial Government with armed struggle therein to transform a DEMOCRATIC SOCIALIST SOCIETY and FRATERNITY – free from SOCIO-POLITICO and ECONOMIC exploitation, oppression, suppression and colonization;

Whereas it being felt necessary to change the name and style of the Boro Security Force and give effect to it in the meeting of the Standing Council, BSF, held on the 18th April 1993, a resolution was unanimously adopted to decide the nomenclature as THE NATIONAL DEMOCRATIC FRONT OF BOROLAND and its army as the BOROLAND ARMY;

And whereas the same resolution was approved to be enforced with immediate effect in the Central Council’s meeting held from the 22nd to 25th November 1994;
