Good afternoon, Lauren!! It's sunny here but very windy--so windy newspapers are flying all over my neighborhood! Well, Ivy was a naughty girl today. She dug a big hole in my garden where some pretty flowers grow! She had dirt all over her face, especial y, her nose! So she had to stay inside and sleep on the sofa! I looked at trees today so tomorrow I'll choose one, a tree named just for you!! Hope you had a good day! Love, Margi

Hi Lauren!!Well, how was your day today? Haven't heard lately if you are still munching M&M's--in you cereal, like Auntie Nean taught you? I tried that with Cheerios & no milk, and it was sooooo good!! It's starting to rain here and the wind is blowing s it feels very cold. I'm going to snuggle up with Ivy on the sofa and watch some TV. Good evening, Lauren! Oh, I am so tired tonight! Ivy is sleeping on the sofa, so comfy! We had snow, sleet, & rain today---guess I can call it "sneeter!" Maybe you'll have sneeter tomorrow. I see you are learning to play soccer with Timmy--I'll bet you t o can run really fast! I'm so happy that you are feeling so good and playing hard--you deserve lots of fun time. Dear Lauren and Timmy: It was great being able to see you yesterday. I finally got over my cold. Playing outside with you was great fun. Timmy, you sure are ready for soccer and Lauren you are not far behind. You loved kicking the balls all over the yard. Blowing bubbles was great fun too. How about that slide. Lauren, you certainly have a lot of energy and you looked great in your pink hat. So glad you do not have to go back to the hospital until next week. That gives us a lot of time for more fun. Lauren, Hello from sunny Florida. Brought my kids here on spring break, and we are burnt to a crisp. And I think I will taste salt water for a week. A funny thing, at Pizza Hut today we asked for cheese dip for our breadsticks, and the waitress said " ou must be from Indiana". That's twice that's happened here. Doesn't anyone else dip their breadsticks in cheese? *smile* Sounds like you are doing well sweetheart. Get well soon Nean, and miss talking to ya Deb. Hi Sweet Lauren!! How was your day? Ivy and I were very busy but still got our walking in. She had to go to the Vet. and get 1 shot, medicine up her nose, and her blood drawn. She was sooooo nervous it took 2 of us to hold her still. Before her doctor ame in she jumped up on the bench I was sitting on and turned so that her face was in the corner and her back to me. If she could talk, she would have said "Mom, I don't like it here and I want to go home!!" I wish you could teach Ivy how to be brave i the doctor's office! I have to watch a very important basketball game tonight--my school team wants to be the best team in college basketball so I am going to cheer them on!!! Pleasant dreams, Lauren!!! Love, Margi

Hi Lauren! Well, it didn't rain here today so we all went on a 4 mile hike--Ivy had lots of sniffing to do!! Have you had any of the pink, blue, green, yellow M&M's yet?--very pretty spring colors amd I ate the whole bag myself in 4 days!! Remember along ime ago I said I was going to plant a tree in the spring and name it Lauren's tree. Well, it's time to do that so I'm going to the nursery this week to pick a beautiful tree with pink flowers. And after I plant it I will take a picture and send it to yo ! Sweet dreams, Lauren!! Happy April Fool's Day, Lauren! No one has played any tricks on me, yet. Ivy was so happy to see me, she ran around and around in circles and gave me lots of sloppy Lab kisses! I just smile so much when I see the pic of you grabbing your face with your ha ds!! Looks like you might be saying "Oh, no, there's Aunt Nean with the camera, again!" Hi Lauren...I just have to tell you I think your brother, Timmy, is so cute and loving...He reminds me of my brother, Tommy...who still makes me laugh even though we're both pretty old!!Your grandma has a cold...maybe when you see her you could give her M M's and make her all better...Grandma told me she really likes M&M's (like you). I think everyone loves M&Ms...We love your smile that you have in all your pictures.When we see you smile, we smile...I hope someday we can meet and share M&M's and gumdrops and ice cream and balloons and butterflies and potato chips and "go fish" and bubbles and frisbees and sidewalk chalk...Are any of these your favorite things to do?? Hi Lauren! I'm sure you are asleep and it's way past my bedtime. It was so hot in Texas today, I couldn't go outside for very long. So the dogs and I spent our time inside cleaning house. Hi baby Lauren!! It's been way too long since I've written to you I know! Glad to hear you are home after your second chemo round and that you are running around and happy! Your doctor looks so nice and I think your haircut is way chic! I cut some of my hair the other day and mommy still doesn't know how I got away with it!! I read in your Aunt Nean's journal that Timmy got his shots for school. Ryan got his last Fri.then went to karate on Sat. His one leg hurt very much, but he still wanted to go. Well, he ended up finishing the class, but was very, very cranky if you know what I mean! That Shihan guy was real nice to him though, then Ryan felt better and was glad he had toughed it out. I think that's what you have to do Lauren, try to tough it out and ever ever stop fighting!! I have a lot to tell you about Disney world-more then I could write here. I will say that I had big, big fun! Hope I can show you the pictures of Micky, Minnie and everybody else soon. You are always in our prayers. Love you b by Lauren! Love-Lauren

Hey there girlie! Whew.. been a long couple weeks here in WV, took the blue boy to Louisville.. see, he was gonna show. We got a couple first place ribbons which was neat. Then I was off to southern WV for a long weekend.. just got back! So we checked n on the webpage and saw your cute pic.. Hi Lauren! I'm thrilled that you're feeling so well and playing happily at home. I saw some rel cowboys last Friday night--black boots, big belt buckles and big black hats. They were eating fried catfish, hush puppies, and beans! I ate pizza! These Texa s liked to put green chiles and tobasco sauce on everything!! The best thing is that the bluebonnets are blooming everywhere! They really are blue and so pretty! Hope Aunt Nean gets the Birthday party pictures up soon! Hello Lauren! I am so glad to hear you are home and doing well! I was worried about you because I haven't seen your Aunt Nean on the Labrador Board lately and there were no updates in your journal. But I am relieved to hear that you are playing and having fun. I have some great news, I'm getting a new puppy tomorrow!! A little yellow Labrador girl, just like your Aunt Neaners Kenzie! Hi Lauren!Are you still in the hospital or at home? I'm praying you are home with Timmy, Mom, & Dad! I'm in Texas, now, and the weather is very stormy. So I snuggled up with my daughter's 2 mutts, Caesar & Chance, and took a nap!! They play together alot, biting each other's neck, growling, jumping on & off the bed, but then they settle down and lay on top of each other. Hi Lauren!! How was your day? Mine was so busy! Tomorrow I'm going to Texas to see my little girl, Jill, and her husband and their 2 dogs. What a wonderful time we had today while I visited you in the hospital. It was fun wheeling you around in the red wagon while mom pushed the IV pole. You got to say hello to all the people on the floor. You sure liked the Happy Meal I brought you. We even got to pick out books to read and you knew all the animals in the Mother Goose book and even made all the sounds they make. You are soooo smart. Your favorite was the Pumpkin Book especially when they made "Pumpkin Pie" UMMM we will have to have that on T anksgiving. Sleep well sweetheart, we love you.
