·If you use your eyedropper tool to load the transparent color, then reverse it to background.
·Use a contrasting color to flood the background and you should be able to see the spots.
·Reverse the transparent back to foreground and use brush tool to remove them.
.When you're done, flood area with transparent color again.
·save and make sure that the transparency value has remained the same, If not, reset. Good luck.

-The transparent color will be whatever the selected secondary color is.
When you paste it, the image where it is going will show through the transparent color.
The secondary color is the color that you see displayed in the box on the right under the
explanation. The secondary color is referred to as the background color there.

-Try this to download the DLL file... You *don't* need a plugin to do it.
· Right mouse click the link with the DLL file
· Go down to the SAVE LINK AS or SAVE TARGET AS if you are using
MS-Internet Explorer... Specify the folder you wish the .DLL file to go into.
· To create a new folder-- This is what I did.

. new Folder
. type plugins
To get to the Plugins Option:
· Open PSP file
. Preferences
. General Programming Preferences
. Plugins Tab
. Specify the directory, C:\Program Files\Paint Shop Pro\plugins
. Check the enable plugin filters box
. click OK.

But there is a workaround that I've discovered (but not seen printed anywhere).

· When you find a filter that PSP can't recognize highlight it in the
Plug-In
Manager program and then hit the FF button.
· After this, choose the Advanced tag and then push the Save as 8B button.
· Save the filter with a new name so you can recognize it later.
· Now you've created a filter that will work in PSP.
· BUT you need to go to explorer and delete the old one.
· Click on the paper-clip icon.
· Browse to the location where the font is and double click on it.
When sharing fonts in the group (on Saturdays) please also include a preview.
You can easily do this in psp. Open a new image and click on the text tool. From the tool options palette.
· choose the font that you'll be sharing with the group and click on your image.
Type some sample text in the text entry box and apply to your image.
export this to either a jpeg or gif file and send along with that attached font.
