Leukemia & Lymphoma Society - Light The Night - September 20, 2001

Our Friends & Family team for the 2001 Light The Night walk at the Mesquite Rodeo location raised just over $1,900 in donations for the North Texas chapter of the L&L Society in Alex's honor. Alex also represented the walk as a "Bright Light" for the Mesquite location. It was so much fun and the new walk location was very different than the ones before. It was challenging to walk through the rodeo arena through all that dried out dirt. Different!

Make A Child Smile - January 2001 Featured Kid

Being a featured child on the Make A Child Smile website has been a real pleasure for all of us. Alex has received many cards from all over the states and even a few from Canada, Mexico and Australia. It's been really fun to go to the post office to check the box. We've gotten many strange looks from other post office patrons when he squeels in excitement at what he finds inside the box.
