THE GREAT WALL OF CHINA Huanghua
Ok...here's where I started.  And I know; it doesn't look like the other pictures of the Great Wall.  I climbed a section that is decaying.  There are no plans to preserve it and that makes it all the more fun.  It was built in the Ming Dynasty and parts of it have no side walls.  If you notice the black dot near the top of the wall, that's a person climbing one of the sections with no walls.  FUN!!!
I thought this was a pretty cool view.  This was near the halfway point.  We still had this part of the wall to go.  Look carefully on the left side of the mountain top.  that's where we had lunch.  Then we moved towards the right side of the picture and down...a nearly vertical decent in some sections.  heeheehee  More Fun!!
This was just outside the previous picture.  You can see a clearer picture of the journey ahead.  The wall dips down at the bottom of the picture and climbs back towards the top tower before sliding down the nearest mountainside.  A great majority of the descent had no side walls - if you've ever had a fear of heights or exposure, this is not a good place to be.  TRUST ME!!!
"I'M KING OF THE WORLD!!!"  Well, that's what I felt like saying while up there.  And, no, I never saw the movie, and, yes, I know where I stole that from, but, hey,  ol' Leo never climbed the Great Wall, did he??  Anyway, this was taken at our lunch site...it was all downhill from there.  hahaha
