Now a certain man was sick, and the man's name was Lazarus, and he lived in the town of Bethany with
  his sisters Mary and Martha.

Mary was the woman who anointed Jesus with ointment, and who wiped his feet with her hair. It was
Mary's brother Lazarus who was sick.

So Mary and Martha sent word to Jesus, and they said, [
kurios..sir, Master, Lord] Master, Lazarus
  whom you love is sick.

When Jesus heard that Lazarus was sick, he said, this sickness is not for the death of Lazarus, it is for
  the glorification of God,
that [autes] through it, the Son of God (I..Luke 1:31,32..John 9:35-37..Mark
  14:61,62)
might be glorified.

Now Jesus loved Martha, and Mary, and Lazarus.

When Jesus heard that Lazarus was sick, he spent another two days in the same place where he was.

And after those two days, Jesus said to his disciples, Let us go into Judaea again.

And the disciples said to Jesus, Master, the last time you were there the Jews tried to kill you; and you
are going to go there again?

And Jesus said, Aren't there twelve hours in a day? If any man walks in the day, he doesn't [
proskopto]
bump into things, because the light of
the sun (God..Psalm 84:11) gives him sight.

  But
if a man walk in the [nux..night] darkness, he [proskopto] bumps into things, because, he cannot
  see, (the light..the word of the sun..God..Psalm 119:105..Proverbs 6:23..2 Corinthians 4:4..is not
  entering into him.
) Because he is not being guided by the word of God. John 4:32

After Jesus had said these things, he said to his disciples, Our friend Lazarus is sleeping; but I am going
so that I can wake him up from his sleep.

  Then the disciples said, [
kurios..sir, Master, Lord] Master, if he is [koimaomai..be asleep, be dead]
  asleep he shall be [
sozo] safe.

Howbeit Jesus was talking about his death: but the disciples thought that Jesus had said that Lazarus
was having a rest and was asleep.

  Then Jesus [
parrhesia] boldly said to the disciples, Lazarus is dead.

And I am happy for your sakes, that I was not there, [
hina] so that you will believe; nevertheless let us
  go to him.

ThenThomas Didymus said to the other disciples, Let us go too, so we can die with him.

Then when Jesus came, he found out that Lazarus had already been dead and laying in the grave for
  four days.

Now Bethany was near Jerusalem, it was about fifteen furlings away.

And many of the Jews came to Martha and Mary, to comfort them concerning their brother.

Then as soon as Martha heard that Jesus was coming, she went and met him: but Mary remained in the
  house.

Then Martha said to Jesus, [
kurios..sir, Master, Lord] Master, if you had been here, my brother would
  not have died.

But I know, that even now, whatever you will ask of God, God will give it to you.

Jesus said to Martha, Your brother will rise again.

Martha said to Jesus, I know that he will rise again in the resurrection at the last day.

Jesus said to Martha, I am the [
anastasis..that should rise, raised to life again, Wycliffe..Jhesus seith to
hir, Y am ayen risyng and lijf: John 11:25
] resurrection, and the life: whoever believes in me, though
that person was dead, yet shall that person live:

And whoever lives and believes in me will never die, Do you believe this?

And Martha said to Jesus, Yes, [
kurios..sir, Master, Lord] Master: I believe that you are the Christ, the
Son of God, who was to come into the world.

And when Martha had said that, she went her way, and she secretly called Mary her sister, and she said
to Mary, The Master is here, and he is calling for you.
