Take Route 22 West, passing Union, Springfield, Westfield, and Scotch Plains. Pass a McDonald's in Scotch Plains on your right.
Continue on 22 West into Plainfield, passing another McDonald's on the right. After next traffic light, get in right lane, look for sign for the Rock Avenue exit, which is about a 1/4 mile away, just before you get to a Sunoco station. Take the exit, a jughandle that will go across Route 22. If you pass the Sunoco station you went too far, make a U-turn, get on Route 22 East, and exit at Rock Avenue.
After getting on Rock Avenue, make a left turn at the third traffic light onto 4th Street. Go straight, up to the third traffic light (Clinton Ave., Grant Ave., then Plainfield Ave.) and turn right onto Plainfield Avenue. Go through next light (7th St.), pass 5 more blocks. Next block turn right onto Pemberton Ave. House is on right, #624. Ring doorbell at front door and walk in.
