It all started on episode one of Making the Band. After 1,800 auditioned, it got whittled down to 25 guys. The 25, then, was narrowed down to the luck 8 finalists whose names are, Paul Martin, Bryan Chan, Mike Miller, Ikaika Kahoano, Ashley Angel, Erik-Michael Estrada, Jacob Underwood, and Trevor Penick.These 8 guys then moved to a small house in Orlando where they started a bond and trained like mad. They got vocal lessons, choreography, and cameras in their face while doing it. If that wasn't hard enough, they were judged to see if they could make it to the five.In between all of this, they often met up with the girl group Herizon, and had to cope with girlfriend problems (especially since Paul was such a flirt even with his gf Carah). Actually, the only one that truly remained faithful to his girlfriend was Ikaika to his girlfriend, Malia. Shortly after a break from the Orlando house, where they got to visit their families, Paul suddenly and without explanation, chose to break from the group. He only said that it just wasn't in his heart. The guys through a party for him, and he was on his way (now Paul is in a country group called Marshall Dyllon). Now with only a few weeks left until the five were chosen, they were all worried about their fates... |
