April 2nd 2004/Ryan Seacrest: Janet's second performance since Feb 1st and truly in the eyes of her fans the most rewarding television appearance to reclaim that classic Janet image and identity Featured Highlights included: *Janet and her team of dancers being escorted with a red carpet arrival into the Kodak theater mall setting...there's only one other time a year this extended blocked off setting of that magnatude takes place and its called the Oscars *Fans were treated to either an interview setting with Janet or a live performance that included, All Nite (Don't Stop) and I Want You *Janet was reunited with a childhood friend from grade school that pulled an emotional cord in Janet that made her cry, not like those 1993 Again or Nutty Professor tears, but real emotion. Deep *The cotton hoodies worn by the dancers were pulled from The Gap at Hollywood and Highland *Damita Jo was played in ints entirety prior to Janet's entrance which gave a positive vibe for the unknown hype...Janet at this point was neck to neck in sales with Usher for the opening week. |
Huge billboards faced with all eight of Janet's albums graced the staircase of the entrance. The jacket I have on was made by yours truly representing the album eras |
