| "...I was such a fool, to ever let go of you..." I went all over Tennessee looking for her, nothing. One person said she moved to the other side of the United States, but not sure where. Not Florida for sure, I know, cause I looked all over Florida too! I just sighed and gave up. I was never gonna find her, and deep down, I knew that, I just didn't wanna believe it. I sighed and walked into a diner and plopped down in a booth. "Hi, I'm Maggie, I'll be your waitress, something to drink?" "Coffee please," I sighed, rubbing my temples, "You got it, here's a menu, when your ready, give me a holler," I nodded, never much looking up at her, it was rude, sure, but oh well. I looked over the menu, and finally found something that sounded good, "Scuse me, Maggie," I said looking up, "Are you ready Sir?" "Yeah, go ahead and give me the scrambled eggs, toast, bacon and the biscuit," "Your bacon?" "Crispy, please," "Comin' right up," She smiled. She was really cute, hazel eyes, a chubby waist, long legs, she was about 5'6 or 5'7, her auburn hair fell to her waist, like, "Shaye?" I said out loud. Wait a minuet! She didn't only look like Shaye, she WAS Shaye, I'd know her anywhere! But, why was she going by Maggie? "Here ya go Sir," Maggie said sitting my plate in front of me. "Wait," I said grabbing her wrist. She looked back at me,"Where are you from?" "Millington, Tennessee," She smiled. "I KNEW IT!" She looked at me strange,"You're Shaye, aren't you?" The color drained from her face, "I have to get back to work," She said walking off. I sighed, maybe I was just imagining it, as bad as I wanted to find her. After I finished eating, I paid and left a tip on the table. I cuddled in my jacket and walked to my truck. "EXCUSE ME!" I turned around, Maggie was running to me, I sighed, as if I wasn't embarrassed enough. She caught up to me, "Hi," I said. "Who are you?" "Justin, Justin Timberlake. Look I'm sorry about earlier, there is just someone I'm looking for, and you favor her," "That's the thing, I AM Shaye..." |
