"Justin! I swear, if you don't stop!" He was chasing me around my backyard with a supersoaker. As much as I wanted to kill him, he was still my best friend.

"Chelle, you look like you're just so hot!" And with that he went to squirt me. Luckily for me, his Mom came running through the back door.

"Justin Randall! I promise you if you shoot her with that water, I'm gonna ground you for 30 years!"

Justin turned around, instantly dropping his instrument of torture. "Mom! She started it!"

That was so many years ago. I loved thinking back on my time in Tennessee, they always brought a smile to my face.

Justin and I met at school when we were 7 years old. Then when my parents divorced, I was forced to moved. We moved during out freshman year of high school. I can still remember how hard it was to say good-bye.

-Flashback-
"I know. But my parents are getting a divorce." I was hugging him so tightly that he could hardly breath.
He sighed as he pulled away, "I don't want you to go Chelle. What am I gonna do, who's gonna teach me how to dance?
I winked at him. He was trying to make me smile. He knew that he wasn't lacking in that department.
-End Flashback-

We moved anyway and I ended up losing touch with him. Then suddenly, a year later, a phone call came from no where.

-Flashback-
"Hello?" Then I heard that southern accent I had missed so much. "Chelle Bells?"
I couldn't believe my ears, "Justin?"
And that was when he filled me in on his new adventure. "Isn't that cool? They want me to join their group!"
-End Flashback-

That had been almost eight years ago. We talked every once and a while. He even visited once, but I still hadn't met the band. I followed their music, and they were successful, but the resentment had set in years before.

-Flashback-
"Justin, I just don't know. We can't do this friendship thing long distance." I could tell I was hurting him, he was being way too quiet. "Justin, you are my best friend and I love you to death. But! I just can't take the fact that I never get to see you!"
For some reason our conversations always ended up that  way.
-End Flashback-

But now things were different. I was growing up, I was turning 21! I hadn't heard from him in almost six months. That's why I was thrown back to my childhood memories when I heard his voice on the other end of the phone.
