Chapter Five:
When we got back, I quickly got changed adn met Justin at his rental car, "Let's go to a park and talk." I got in and started crying again, we got there and got out, "So tell me what's wrong." "Well, I broke up with this guy because he hates you and I couldn't stand him talking trash about you so I broke up with him. Now he calls me and tells me that if I don't quit he will ruin my life forever and make you hate me." I said barely talking. "What was he going to do?" "He was going to make everyone believe that I had gone to jail for 5 years for prostituition. He said that he would turn everyone aginst me." I wanted to run it Justin's arms and stay there forever, it was like he knew what I wanted and pulled me close and held me in his arms, "I will never think that Dream, niether will the guys." "I only hope so."
When we got back he, I, the guys, and the girls had a talk, they said that they would be behind me 100%. I went back to my room and then took a shower. The next day, I looked out the window to see a bunch of people with Dan standing with them, I got up and went out in to the living room, everyone was there, and watching the TV, "I can't believe that these people could ever do that to her." "I know what you are saying Lance, I hate him but we can't go out there. To bad, but it is for his on good luck, I would beat him so far into the ground!" Justin said. I went back and got some more clothes on and walked out, they all looked at me, "What? I can see what is going on out there." They looked to the floor, then my cell phone rang, "Dreama?" "Yes, who is this and what do you want?" I said not really careing who it was. "Look this is Dave Cook, do you want me to call you back later, I see what is going on, I am out here but I am with a group who doesn't think that you did that." "Dave! Oh man, I'm so sorry, I am not having a good day if you know what I mean as you can see." I had loved Dave since we where like 14 or so, I think that he likes me but I wasn't sure since he had a girlfriend. "Hey, it's cool." "Hey dude, why don't you come up with me, so we can talk and stuff. It has been a long time, I thought you had forgotten me." "You? Never man, who could forget the name Dreama?" "I don't know. Well are you coming or not?" "Yeah, walking there know ... Lonnie, Dreama says I can come in." "Ok, well, hurry up and get in there, I give you 5 secs and the door closes. Understood?" Lonnie said. "Yeah." he said as he hopped onto the bus. "Hey dude what's up?" I said as he got on. "Nothing, god it is heck out there!" he said with a smile on his face, I turned away from him. "Guys this is Dave, we have been friends since oh like 9th grade I think, does that sound right?" "Yep, that is right." "Good thought so." "Nice to meet you Dave." Justin said. Then all the guys shook hands and we sat down, I looked over at Grace she was starring at Dave, I walked to her as I went to the bathroom, "Nope, he's mine." "Oh please you got ..." she started to say but then saw my look. I went to the bathroom and came back out and she was geting up to sit in my seat, "I do not even think so. I am sitting there." "Oh yeah, sorry. Well you don't have to get no attuide with me." she said. "Exuse me but do you see what is happening out there? I am being talked about, lied about and everything else under the sun. If someone did that to you, I would think that you would be on egde. I mean, god can you not see this?" She didn't say anything, then she saw the hurt in my eyes. I walked over to sit down, "So, how's working with Justin going? Fun?" "Yeah, it is. What do you do now?" I said. I had a feeling that he DID just happen to like me and I liked him ... we will have to see what happens. So we talked and talked some more then he had to go becuase he had to go to work, the press had left and the cops came and put Dan in jail ... they looked at my record and there was not one bad thing on it ... so I was cleared and felt much better. Over that week Dave and I talked a lot and went out to clubs with *NSYNC and stuff. We had a blast ... then we had to leave. I said bye and we left. |
