© 1999, 2002 Kenichi Sonoda and Studio ProteusRiff-Raff is a professional driver who is driven by a love of cash, speed, and a need to prove that she's the best on the road. When Bean Bandit isn't available, or when it's a job he's turned down or wouldn't touch, people in the underworld or private security agencies turn to Riff-Raff. She desperately wants to be Number One, and goes out of her way to seek opportunities to sho up Bean. After a couple of clashes with Rally Vincent, Riff-Raff is also starting to become obsessed with the bounty hunter, hoping to some day race her on the open road and prove that it is Riff-Raff who is the better driver of the two.

Riff-Raff is almost completely amoral. Her only known redeeming qualities is that she is a woman of her word and that she has a curious personal code of honor; she seems to view herself and other professional drivers as romantic figures akin to medeival warriors or outlaws of the old west and that they should always treat one another with respect, professional courtesy and honesty--within the bounds of their individual contracts, naturally.
