Detective Roy Coleman of the Chicago Police Department is a close friend of Rally Vincent. The two often exchange tips and leads, and he occassionally helps smooth over legal difficutlies when Rally gets caught in a bind while on a job. He is an honest cop and while he may occassionally overlook a regulation or two for the bountyhunters of the Gunsmith Cats store, he would never consider breaking the law for them or anyone.

Ken Taki

Total Character Points: 34
Total Skill Points: 80

Ken Taki was at one time a top hit man for the mob--an infamous bomber whose commands of explosives was so fantastic it bordered on the magical. Several years ago, he took a young runaway boy under his wing and started to teach him everything he had learned about explosives and demolitions. The boy turned out to be a girl--Minnie-May Hopkins--and the two soon fell deeply in love. When Ken's affection for Minnie-May prompted him to try to retire from the mob, he was forced to go on the run and leave Minnie-May behind. Rally Vincent and Becky Farrah helped eventually reunite the two lovers, and Ken managed to use his underworld contacts to erase his past and create a new life in Chicago.

Although Ken still occassionally works with explosives as a special effects expert, he no longer builds boms; he suffers from a degenerative muscular disorder that has rendered his hands too unstable for the fine work that it requires. (On rare occassions, he will still work his old magic, but only if he has plenty of time to take great care with the project.)
