Many of the characters described in "Big Eyes, Small Mouth: You're Under Arrest!" have "Standard Issue Police Gear" as part of their Attributes. The exact equipment selection varies depending on the officer's duty assignments, but the items listed on this page form the baseline for what police characters have assess to. (More elaborate equipment can be checked out by individual officers, or assigned on a short-term basis.) The items listed below all add up to a single minor piece of equipment for characters who are police officers.

The following items are issued to all officers.
• Official police identification
• Regular uniform
• Summer uniform
• Uniform overcoat
• Personal locker at the station house.
• One baton. The game stats for this weapon are as follows: Damage 5; Defects: Melee Only; Skill: Melee Attack (Club/Baton).
• One service revolver, with three speed-loads. Many of the officers in "You're Under Arrest!" leave their service revolvers at the station  house, choosing only to carry it when severe trouble is expected. And even in situations where armed opponents are expected, officers like Natsumi and Miyuki often choose to rely on non-conventional--some might even say strange--ways to bring down the bad guys. If the gun if fired off a firing range, the officer can expect to be buried in paperwork while accounting for each bullet spent. The stats for the issued handgun are as follows: Damage 5; Abilities: Concealable; Defects: Short Range, Limited Shots (6); Skill: Gun Combat (Pistol).
