| AmbientBackhoe (AB) is an experimental "open architecture" publishing concept whereby contributors write a poem (relating to the theme for the current edition) and place it on their own individually designed webpage. The author/designer then sends a link to their site to AB, which in turns makes it available to the reader. At this point the contributor is "published." All of the individually written & published web pages then as a whole constitute the pages of AmbientBackhoe. Also, each poem\webpage has a link to the next poem\webpage. Thus, one reads the current edition of AB by moving from webpage to webpage, via the links. At this point AB does not make editorial evaluations of the poem\web pages, but will verify there is a poem relating to the theme of the edition, and that there is a valid link to the next poem\page. If necessary, a limit of poem\pages for each themed edition will be established. |
