2002-2003 Injury and Cost Analysis Report
This is the official 2002-2003 Injury Report and Cost Analysis.  This report is a compilation of statistics taken by the certified athletic trainer during the 2002-2003 sports seasons.  These are only the injuries that required a written injury report.  Therefore, doesn't reflect ALL injuries.  Some injuries may not have been recorded by the ATC or reported to the ATC.

These are the Injuries by Gender.  COED sports were not seperated by gender and therefore recieved there own categorie.

Male Injuries (by male sports)- 136 Injuries
Female Injuries (by female sports)- 80 Injuries
COED Injuries (by coed sports)- 31 Injuries
INJURIES BY SERIOUSNESS
These are the number of injuries calculated by the seriousness of the injury.  Mild injuries are those that require no time loss from practices up to a week out.  Moderate injuries are those injuries that required time lossed from sport from 1-4 weeks.  Severe injuries are those injuries that required time loss from 4 weeks to end of season.
