The idea for this campaign came about while my friend and I were discussing most of the uninformed (they haven't listened to anything but the chorus of MMMBop) backlash Hanson gets...as do their fans.

Well, I find it sickening that merely the mention of Hanson turns heads with a "you've got to be kidding me" or worse expression. Hanson is NOT A CURSE WORD!!! THEY ARE A BAND!!! While in the grocery store I casually mentioned Hanson to the checker who asked me if I liked them. :) I was buying a mag with them on the cover. We started talking and I noticed that the bagger was staring at me as if I'd grown a third eye! I am sick of the IGNORANCE! If you want to make fun of anyone in the music industry...I suggest you aim it at those who are a JOKE! Without wanting to be rude I'll just say...BOY BANDS!!! CERTAIN TALENTED FEMALE PERFORMERS WHO SEEM TO ENJOY RUNNING AROUND BEING HALF NAKED...CERTAIN SINGERS OF THE THONG SONG!!! Those people don't write their own music (I will admit there is the occasional song that's written on the album by these people...but rarely is it the "hit" or a single...in other words no substance), they don't have half the passion Hanson does, and they don't play their own instruments.
