Daydreams of you. . . thoughts so real, I could touch you
My fingers feather through your chestnut locks like a comb
Its silky curls and waves yield to my hand
We speak to each other of intimate thoughts
We share our innermost feelings and desires
My hand caresses your face
As it brushes against your cheek,
I feel the soft, smooth texture of your creamy skin
My lips barely touch yours. Was it seconds, or an eternity?
My heart threatens to explode
We embrace and become one: body to body, flesh to flesh
We are so close, we share the same breath
I smell the aura of your perfume around you,
and it takes me higher. . .
I am overtaken by waves of emotion cascading over me
I stare into the big, blue oceans that are your eyes,
and I see myself drowning in a sea of love
I know that this is where I am meant to be
Then reality calls me back. . . and I reluctantly return
