This site is considered sacred by many Druid Orders in England including: The Order of Bards, Ovates and Druids; the Bristish Druid Order; the Loyal Arturian War Band, and member groups of the the Council of British Druid Orders. |

| West Kennet Long Barrow and Silbury Hill (below) are two prehistoric monumnets close to Avebury that are also visited by pilgrims. If you decide to visit the Avebury complex, please don't climb Silbury Hill - she's very fragile. |
