The meeting was held on 1/18/01 at 6:30pm at the same Friday's Restaurant as the holiday event in December. Attendees talked about a joint project with the UCF chapter and the annual May event. If you have suggestions, please send them to us.
The meeting was held on 2/15/01 at 6:30pm at the Olive Garden in Winter Park. A membership committee was organized under Debra Barran (Membership Chair) with Michael Ofcharik and Andrea Almeida. They will arrange a social event to occur during our regularly scheduled meeting on April 19 at 6:30 pm. It will be held on the UCF campus at Loco's, and the undergraduate Golden Key members will be asked to join us. The May anniversary event will be a business dress/formal event with honorary inductees again this year.
The meeting was held on 3/15/01 at 6:30pm at the Olive Garden in Winter Park with seven members and two guests. Much of the discussion was about the April 18, 2001 event. It is a Career Night that we will host with the UCF Undergraduate chapter. It will be held at the UCF Pegasus Ballroom and UCF Loco's from 6-8 PM. Sunny Kokol of Gateway Contry Store was present to discuss some of the benefits to Golden Key members and students that Gateway offers. They expressed interest in partnering with us and hosting future socials at their locations. Pham also presented the treasurer's report for the year May 2000-February 2001.
Career Night was held on Wednesday evening, 4/18/01, in the Pegasus Ballroom of the UCF Student Union. The UCF Career Resource Center began by discussing interview and resume tips. Sunny Kokol, a manager with Gateway Country Stores, followed with a presentation about Gateway and career opportunities. Linh Nguyen, Chairman of OGKAC, explained its mission and answered questions. The evening ended with a reception at Loco's.
Mike and Linh met at the Panera Cafe on SR436 to discuss preliminary details for the upcoming Membership reception. They discussed locations, honorary members, catering, and date/times for the event.
The officers and several members met at the Olive Garden in Winter Park to discuss the Membership reception. A location and date/time were finalized. The event will be held at Hops-Longwood on 7/26 at 6:30pm in the private room. They decided on hor's doeuvres and sodas.
