The President, Secretary, and Webmaster met on 1/16/02 at the Applebee's on University Blvd. Linh was appointed Treasurer by the President. The officers planned for the March alumni reception in conjunction with the Regional Conference in Orlando. They also decided on Sam Sneads for the chapter meetings in June and July.
Officers met at Gina's in Altamonte Springs on 2/20/02 at 6pm. Linh N. Nguyen, WebMaster, was appointed Treasurer, who replaced T. Pham. Andrea, Linh, and Laura talked about the alumni reception at the Regional Conference on 3/15 and finalized tasks and details. A request was made to get a Mailbox Etc mailbox for our new mailing address.
OGKAC hosted a reception for GK alumni at the Holiday Inn, near UCF, on 3/15 at 6pm. Hors d'oeuvres were served and a good time was had by all. Donations were generously given by fellow alumni.
The meeting was held at Sam Sneads downtown on 4/17/02 at 6pm. The Board decided not to pass the motion on the name change and required two signatures on future checks. Discussion included "non-profit" status of the organization and partnering with Summer Jazz, LLC for the Summer Jazz Series.
The monthly meeting was held at Sam Sneads downtown on 5/15/02 at 6pm. Andrea, representing OGKAC, signed an agreement with Summer Jazz, LLC to provide 6 volunteers in exchange for 10% of the profits from the 2002 Summer Jazz Series. See below for details on how to volunteer for the events. Due to a conflict of interest, Linh N. Nguyen resigned from the position of Treasurer. Nominations are being accepted for the vacancy. Please email Andrea at aliky77@yahoo.com. A new checking account will be opened with the UCF Credit Union in order to avoid monthly fees at First Union.

When: June 19, July 17, August 21, and September 18 (All events are on Wednesdays)

Admission: $10 (Includes hors d'oeuvres and cash bar)
