	Saturday, September 13, 2003,  the Owen J. Roberts High School Marching Band placed 5th out of 32 bands in the Hershey Grand Centennial Parade. The band's placement has earned a total of $500.00 in prize money for our program. Congratulations to the OJRHS Marching Band!
	Principal's Message 1/26/2003
	We closed out the month (January) by hosting the Pennsylvania Music Education Association District 12 Band Festival. During this three-day event, the OJR Band Parents Association and local families hosted 120 students from 30 school districts in their homes, as well as provided them with meals during practices, and an evening of socializing and dancing. The students culminated their visit with an outstanding concert performance, under the direction of guest conductor, Dr. Terry Oxley, which delighted an audience of over 800 teachers, friends, and family members. Our appreciation and congratulations goes to Mr. Todd Mengel, OJR school district music teachers and staff, parents, and relatives for all their efforts in making this such a successful event.
