(1 hectare) field in the Severn valley which is being planted as an organic cider and perry orchard. We have grafted over 100 trees from 35 varieties of cider apple, some unknown from ancient orchards, and at least 1 of each variety will be planted. We will also be planting about a dozen varieties of perry pear. These will be Welsh varieties, whereas the apples will be Welsh and English.
