Personal Update: August 15, 2001
It's been a while since I've done anything with CMP, including
even updating my fanfic. I figured I should let you all in on my own news so
you know that I haven't entirely abandoned this site. My hubby and I are
expecting our first baby and I've had the dreaded "morning sickness" (I use
that term very loosely since it lasts all day sometimes). As you may
imagine, I haven't been very motivated to do much other than sleep. So bear with me...

BTW, If you haven't read Rosey's fic, Future
Tense, yet then you've just got to! She's got seven chapters written so
far and I am really looking forward to chapter eight!

So has it really been over a month since my last update? Yes, classes
have definitely limited my fun-time on the web this semester. Thankfully
my last exam is coming up near the end of the month, so I will have more time to
dedicate to CMP again! I finally came up with a title for my fanfic.
Whew! That took a while. I've got the next chapter (or two I think) already in rough
draft, I've just got to have Rosey-chan do her cool editing thing before I post
them for you. It will be after finals (the 24th), so please be patient
with me. I've got some minor editing left before I post Ch. 2.

Wow! Minna, I'm sorry it's been so long since I've updated anything. *sweatdrop* Things have been
a little hectic for me lately and I'm afraid CMP has been getting sorely
neglected. -_- I've been working on my first fanfic for quite some time
now, and my dear friend Rosey-chan of Author
Thoughts has been an absolute gem, acting as my much-needed advisor and
dedicated editor. Arigatou Rosey-chaaannn!!!! You're the best!
I'm finally taking a leap and posting Chapter 1 for you. Nope, it doesn't
have a title yet. I just couldn't think of anything I liked, so when I do
I'll give it one.
Must Rant: I just realized that there were broken links for images and backgrounds on my Add-A-Link and Dreambook pages. Gomen nasai! It seems that YahooGeocities no longer allows direct linking of images hosted on their site (but they're MY images -_-). *grrrrrrrr* So anway, they're fixed now. Gomen for the ugliness, but it's been that long since I've checked out those pages! I guess that may be part of the reason for all of the broken image links from guestbook visitors as well. Baka YahooGeocities!!

I finished
Michiru's Chamber
this evening and it's up and ready for you to check out. I also took a few
things off of the main CMP page. I'm afraid your load time might be pretty
slow there, but I don't know for sure because no one's ever complained. It
loads quickly on my computer but I've got a pretty fast internet
connection. So if you notice any pages that really take too long to
download, please let me know so I can work on them. Oh, one more
addition during this last update is on the Sailor
Moon Site Text Links page, check under the Anime section. I
have plans for a new spring layout, and still have several projects going at
once including the profiles for Hotaru and Setsuna. I find them to be the
most difficult to write as they seem to be two of the more mysterious characters
in the manga. Setsuna especially. Well minna, my updates will be a
little less frequent than usual because I'm back in school to finish up my
degree. Got lots of work to do, but I'm going to try to update
every-other week even if it's just a little one. ^_^

I'm
working on making the Site Links much more comprehensive. I'd like to have
a huge link library for you to enjoy with what I think are some of the best
sites out there. I'll be merging the Manga/Artbook/Video Links page
with this too so all of the links can be on one page. I'm not sure if I'm
going to keep the banners or not, since I often wonder if it is too redundant a
page, plus they take up precious web space. I've
been looking for some good webrings to join, so if you've got any ideas or
suggestions I'd welcome an email from
you. It seems like a lot of the webrings I've been interested in have gone
defunct or aren't adding new links. I'd
also like to add a Banner Exchange (a.k.a. sister sites) to CMP to increase
traffic to my site and yours, but I need some interested Sailor Moon site webmasters. Email
me if you'd like to be a sister site to CMP. Of course manga is my favorite but
anime sites are just as welcome! I only ask that the site be hentai-free.

Just to give you all a heads up. I've been having MAJOR computer problems which I have been trying
desperately to fix, to no avail I'm afraid. I've got to do some more work
today (i.e. call Gateway and see if they can help me - they haven't been
able to fix this since 7/00), so there is a chance that I may be without a
computer for some time if I end up having to send the hard drive back (noooooooo!)
to them for repair or a new one. So cross your fingers for me, and if I
seem silent for a while, you will all know why.

things happening around CMP... Well, I had planned on doing a Holiday theme, but
as you can see I haven't gotten around to it, so why am I bothering to tell you
these things? Well I guess I'm in a ramblin' kind of mood. At least
I've given you a taste of the Holiday spirit here! Oh,
another thought just came to me... Bravenet is moving it's server, so you may
experience some weird things around here such as the counter on the homepage not
loading and the "Ami's Add-A-Link" page not working properly.
Never fear, this shall pass. *tee hee* I've
been working on a new section of CMP called The Observatory. I love it (if
I may say so myself) and I've been putting a lot of time into it. It's a
pretty simple design, but it's really been fun to work on. I'm not sure
when I'll upload it, because I've only gotten three pages completed right now
and there will be a total of at least nine or ten when I'm through. Maybe
I'll get brave and let you see what I've got. Any requests? Ha ha! In
the meantime, here's a present for you. You can download it and post it on
your site (please don't link to the graphic on my site). I've put the HTML
for the link below the graphic. No, I won't hunt you down if you don't
link back, it's a gift right? ^_^ [02/14/01-

update: I added a new page to CMP simply titled Wallpapers.
There are only two up at the moment, but I am sure I will add to that count from
time to time. ^_^
Added some new clip art on pages 3 & 4 and moved things around a bit.
Updates for this weekend include applying to two new webrings (still waiting
for approval so they don't work yet), a rehaul of the Sailor Moon Site Links and
some changes to the Banner Links page (which I may just get rid of).
Whew! I just finished a huge project here at CMP, The
Observatory. It is pretty much complete, but I will be adding more
information here and there and maybe making updates to the planet info as new
discoveries are made by NASA. Maybe I'll just change some of what's there
from time to time to keep you all from getting bored. At any rate, this
has taken me a long time to complete, so I'm just glad to get it up and running
on the site! As always, I really hope you like this section. Now, on
to my next enormous project... If only I could get this fanfic
completed. Gomen Rosey-chan! I'll work on it.
My great friend Rosey-chan sent me some beautiful animated banners she made just for CMP! Rosey-chan is
so sweet!! You can see them on the Link to CMP page. Also, I've added another adoptee on my Adoptions page!

holidays, but I was very pleasantly surprised to find a beautiful award awaiting me in my inbox when I checked
my email yesterday. A very big "Arigatou!" goes out to Bluehaireddemon for the award she so kindly bestowed
upon CMP. The first of the new year! Please visit her and say "Konnichiwa!" for me.
Well, I finally put up a Webrings page. So far I've only added one ring to this page, and it's incomplete as
of today (because I'm waiting for that little confirmation email). Anyway, check it out in a few days and then
surf around, you can find some really neat sites through these rings. I'll be adding more to this page. As of
today, I belong to three (two on my main page and one here). I can tell you with certainty that these rings
really do help increase your web-traffic dramatically!
Well minna, just two short days until My Birthday. So I decided to give you all a
birthday present...I've created a Sailor
Moon Postys page, featuring none other than Holiday Postys! It's taken
me longer to upload this than I had planned because I couldn't get the music to
work *sobs uncontrollably* and I still can't. -_- Very sad
me. I'm putting up the page anyway because there are still other options
for you to choose from, and eventually I'm sure I will figure out the deal with
the music. I'll let you know as soon as I do.
