Isn't it funny how we are always telling our children how horrible drugs are when more than 98% of babies come into this world with massive amounts of medication?

At more than 8 pounds each, both of our daughters were born 100% drug-free!
We have watched our older daughter grow up, knowing she was drug-free and breastfed for more than a year. The things she has been able to do are amazing!
She was crawling at 5 months, walking at 9 months, and totally potty-trained before turning 2 years old! Recently, at age 4, she has begun reading and writing by herself.
Our younger daughter has already amazed us in her short life. She was born at home with me on my hands and knees. She has been excelling in newborn milestones and will hopefully follow the wonderful path set by her sister through our attachment parenting.

1 in 200 women who have an amniocentesis can expect a miscarriage. Although this test is performed specifically for detecting Down syndrome, 1 to 3 in 10,000 babies are born with Down syndrome.

Although the technology is there if it's needed, she knows how to have a wonderful natural birth experience. In fact, she isn't even hooked up to anything (except for a heplock cap).

Most childbirth classes don't start until the mother is only 6 weeks from her due date. Many mothers attend less than 2 classes before giving birth, leaving them feeling totally unprepared and nervous throughout labor. Many other mothers don't begin classes until many potentially harmful procedures have already been performed.

"The induction rate is near 85%, the epidural rate is 90%, the c-section rate is above 25%, and the instrumental (forceps and vaccum extraction) is near 59%.
