Infant adoption is of a baby normally aged 6 weeks to 12 months, occasionally a baby up to 2 years may be allocated.
The birth Mother / Parents get to choose who they will let their baby be adopted by and then they have between 4 and 6 visits a year with the child. This is a good thing as it helps the child know who they are and where they come from.
We currently havent been approved yet and the approval part is the bit I'm most scared of because I worry that for some reason we wont get approved, but most people who have experienced infertility and unsuccessful IVF treatments or other attempts at starting a family, do tend to be scared that they wont be approved.
I would love a daughter, but I would also love a son as well.
We will update this page once we have been approved and know if we have a daughter or a son. We wont be able to share any details of our childs life before us as thats personal and for them only to know, but we will share milestones and happy times that our child has with us.
