Some background...
   I was born in Nova Scotia in 1965 and was very young at the time of my birth  ;)
    I am now living in Thunder Bay Ontario, 850 meters away from the shores of Lake superior, the largest lake on the planet!
    31 years paddling experience (so far).
    Aug. 2003 Attempt on the 24 Hour Endurance Kayaking World Record, paddling 275 kilometers in 22 hours down the Peace River. Full report is posted with link on World Record page
    Former member of the Necky Kayaks Pro Paddling Team.
    Marathon Canoe Racer off and on since the 1980's
    2003 Canadian Marathon Canoe & Kayak Championships...5th in K1 (paddling a Looksha II Sea Kayak against marathon K1 race kayaks!), 5th in Mixed Stock Canoe
    Creater of the Superior Kayak Club in Thunder Bay Ontario
    Past President of the Atlantic Kayak Association.
    Solo Kayaking tours of up to
1200 kilometers.
   Former competitive Road Cyclist.
   Long distance cycling tours of up to
7000 kilometers.
   5 and a half month solo Cross Canada Canoe Expedition in 2004.
  Yukon River Quest competitor...700 km paddling race down the Yukon River...anxious to go back and enter SOLO after the fiasco last time around.
  
NEW...Solo Circumnavigation of Vancouver Island. 1165 kilometers in 23 days and 10 hours. Shattering the previous record by nearly 5 days!

   The 24-Hour Kayaking World Records are a strong possibility for the 2007 paddling season...stay tuned for details!
