| The Founder of OTA - Evangelist Evelyn Komuntale Evelyn Komuntale, an African Princess and Ordained Minister, has given her life to helping the suffering children of Africa. Although born into royalty, during her childhood, she experienced the trauma of separation from her family when Africa was transitioning to independence in the early 60's. The events and hardships Evelyn endured at the tender age of six, created in her a profound empathy for orphans, whose plight is today exacerbated by the ravages of HIV/AIDS in her homeland. She has seen the suffering, feels the compassion and is keenly aware of the urgency. As a Christian, Evelyn feels it is her duty to help AIDS orphaned and disadvantaged Africian children become healthy productive members of society. Evelyn feels deeply indebted to the compassion of individuals who were senstitive to her plight and blessed her with the Gift of Education. Her pledge to reciprocate this act of generosity has lead to a life long dedication of providing the same for the Children of Africa. THIS IS A LEGACY AND BLESSING SHE WANTS TO PASS ON TO OTHER SUFFERING CHILDREN. Ms. Evelyn Komuntale, has lived in the USA since 1978 and is a knowledgeable Safari Consultant, Missionary/Evangelist and colorfull Storyteller of African Folktales. |
