| Enrolling Your Child At Owairaka It is a very easy process to enrol at our wonderful school. Just make an appointment to see someone on the Senior Management Team by ringing the school office. If your child is 5 then you will need to bring in his or her Birth Certificate. Your child can visit with Mum, Dad or a Caregiver two or three times before they start school. On your first visit, forms will be filled out with information about your child. You are also given a folder of information about Owairaka School. |
| After School Care Programme The school offers an after school care service on a daily basis from 3.00 - 5.30pm. A fully qualified supervisor provides activities and supervision for children in the school hall. An assistant supervisor attends if 15 or more children are present. The cost is $6.00 per child per afternoon for children who are regular attendees and $7.00 per child per afternoon for casual attendance. There is also an up to one hour rate from 3.00 - 4.00pm of $4.00 or $5.00 with afternoon tea. |
