Youth Education

Pacific Islander Outreach addresses the lack of success in schools among youth in East Palo Alto and East Menlo Park by offering community-based programs such as:

Tutoring and mentoring
Cultural enrichment
After-school programs

Health

Many socio-cultural and financial barriers hinder access to health services.

"His Majesty's Healthy Lifestyle Program" - The King of Tonga's personal fitness and nutrition program.

Awareness of Islander health issues such as diabetes, hepatitis, substance abuse, domestic violence and HIV/AIDS.

Overcome educational barriers about sexually transmitted diseases (STDs)
