Written OOC to avoid confusion

1 - You chose to portray an inahan.  Do not complain if your character is treated like a slave.  Slaves on Gor were property and on the Barrens life was harsh, so were the Masters and Mistresses.  There will be no coddling.

2 - Respect will be given to all muns.  You are NOT a slave OOC and do not have to be treated like one.  However, respect is expected OOC between ALL muns of the SL.  Period.

3 - It is highly suggested that you read Savages of Gor.  If you cannot locate it ask someone and they will direct you to an online version of the book. The culture of the Savages is well discussed in Savages and Blood Brothers.

4 - Slaves will be expected to RP doing more than sitting and looking pretty.  Survival on the Barrens was hard and a co-operative effort.  Slaves will do chores during the RP, though, it should not consume ALL your RP.  You are here to interact with the SL, and if you feel that is not being permitted please speak up.  However, you chose to play a slave and slaves worked.

5 - Know your place IC.  Slaves that act out and misbehave to get attention will not survive long in this SL.  It is disruptive, it is unfair to the other muns of the SL, and while no slave behaved perfectly all the time if a trend is noticed it will have a stop put to it.

6 - Deal with IC, IC.  Do not try to manipulate the play OOC because it simply will not happen.  Actions done IC will have IC reactions they  might be good, they might be bad.  Do not go OOC to try manipluate the situation.

7 - Slaves that run, if caught, WILL be hamstrung.

8 - Slaves will not travel without one escort (NPC) that is to prevent theft and escape.  If your character is stolen do not expect a PC Warrior to come to their rescue.  Its only a slave and NOT worth the life of a Free Member of the Tribe.

9 - No slave pregnancies unless it is a breeding SL.  Slaves are given sip root to chew even if it is not always portrayed it DID happen.  Fleer are very xenophobic and racist -- they would not mingle their blood with anything but another Fleer.  And a Fleer free woman at that.

10 - Slaves are notoriously jealous, petty and competative.  Free people did NOT interfere with their fights 'unless' it became annoying to the free person OR it interfered with the smooth operation of the camp.  Do not expect a free person to run to your rescue if you have trouble IC with the other slaves.  That said, if you are getting OOC badgered, DO bring that to the attention of a free person.
