Angiosperm
Angiosperm is any plant that is a member of the class Angiospermae, in which the seeds are enclosed in an ovary. Each member of the class is either a monocotyledon (grasses, tulips) or a dicotyledon (apple, primrose). for this projects purpose we will focus on the lilly plant.
Lilly Plants
Angiosperm is the largest phylum of plants, they include over 240,000 different species of flower plants. they are characterized as seed bearing fruit plants with an ovary as the female reproductive part that encloses the egg. Angiosperms grow in many forms and occupy diverse habitats.
Possible factors that led to there success
1.In many Angiosperms, seeds germinate and produce mature plants, which in turn produce new seeds, all in one growing season. Gymnosperms often take 10 or more years to reach maturity and produce seeds.

2.The Fruits of flowering plants Protect the Seeds and Aid in their Dispersal.

3.Angiosperms have a more efficient Vascular System, and are more likely to be associated with Mycorrhizae than Gymnosperms are.

4.Angiosperms also may gain an advantage by using Animal Pollination rather than the less efficient Wind Pollination.  Wind pollination is also used by some Angiosperms, such as grasses and many Deciduous Trees.

5.Angiosperms are more Diverse than Gymnosperms, so they occupy more NICHES, such as aquatic, epiphytic, and parasitic environments.
