GOALS OF MEDITATION: |
Now where were we? Oh yeah! The four fold breath! So anyway, this circulates the energy through your body. After about ten seconds, you should start to feel results. you should feel refreshed, energized. You can keep going past ten seconds, but stop when you seel like you cant' hold anymore energy or you can get hurt. click here to find out more about dangers and necessary precautions. 2) Another goal is, as stated in the previous section, relaxing your body. See basic meditation for guidelines on this. SHALLOW MEDITATION: This is no where as effective as real meditation, which is far deeper. However, if you're short on time you can still do this alternative method. Simply think of nothing. Relax your body and your mind. After a while you should feel refreshed. You can also use this relaxed state to think about things or mind train (see below). MIND TRAINING Mind training is like daydreaming only there's a point to it. For example, I could imagine in my head that I'm on the streets of New York and some thug jumps me, and then I'd imagine how I'd fight him, maybe shoot a few psiballs at him, knock his teeth out, etc. It's best to do this during shallow meditation or a lucid dream. REAL, DEEP MEDITATION: this is meditating without thought. You must assume a state of nothingness. Don't think of anything. Eventually minutes will seem like seconds and you will be meditating.... METHOD 1: This is one my aunt told me. Picture yourself at the bottom of a tub filled with water. Every thought you have is a bubble. So everytime you have a thought, turn it into a bubble. It will take some time before you get used to dropping every single thought you have, but practice makes better so never stop trying. NOTE: this method has been known to cause lucid dreams. |
