GENERAL ELECTIONS - 2003

The General Elections -2003 would take place on April 19, 2003 between thirty registered political parties. PDP is poised once again to win majority of the national assembly seats, increase the present 21 State governorships it won in 1999, and overwhelmingly win to retain the presidency. The presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) is President Olusegun Obasanjo and his Vice, Alhaji Abubakar Atiku.
