Duck season is FINALLY over, and I think the ducks have sent out a memo. The waters have risen again, and every morning I look out the window and see more ducks. Yesterday, a Common Goldeneye showed up with two female friends. They spent the entire day diving for food out in the pasture.
This morning, a huge flock of Northern Pintails moved in and are currently dabbling away by the river.
Lola and Daisy still aren't getting along. We may have to adopt a few more female ducks. Don isn't happy about that, but I can't part with Lola. He's too goofy.
