| “Hello, Mr. Richardson. This is Jessica Lawrence. She is the young women who you wanted to meet.” “Hello.” Kevin said as he smiled weakly. “Hi!” “I will leave the two of you alone to talk, but don’t stay too long.” Dr. White said as he exited. “I wanted to meet you because I wanted to thank you for saving my life.” Kevin said as soon as Dr. White was gone. “Your welcome. It’s the least I could do for my favorite band. I guess it is a way to repay you for what your music has done for me.” “Could you do me another favor?” “Yes” “The doctors won’t tell me about the other boys. Do you know how they’re doing?” “Well, A.J. is probably as bad as you are, but the others are much worse. I can’t tell you the exact injuries because they are just so awful.” “Thank you for at least giving me that much. I know how you feel right now so don’t worry about telling me the rest, you’ve done enough for us.” Tears started to flow down her cheeks when he said this. Thinking of Howie made her upset. “Jessica, what’s wrong?” |
