| “Kevin, it’s going to take me a while to forgive you & I don’t know if Jen will ever forgive you. You hurt her more than you hurt me. I want her to get over it before I’ll be your friend again.” “I understand. I guess I’m going to go take a nap. By the way, congratulations on the engagement.” “Thanks Kevin, Take care of that arm.” “Thanks” Kevin walked to his room & Howie went inside. Jen was sitting on the bed. “What did he want?” “He wanted to apologize for what he said earlier to us. I told them that when you forgave him I would forgive him because he hurt me as much as he hurt you & I don’t really know if I want to forgive him or not right now.” “Howie, things will be OK. You’ll see. It will take me some time, but Kevin will always be my friend.” “OK” They both decided that they needed to get out so they asked if anyone would care for Melody. A.J. had nothing better to do so he agreed. The two drove to Virginia Beach & walked on the beach. “Howie, what do you think will happen to us in the future.” “I think it will be perfect. Just wait & see Jen. I promise you I won’t let anything happen to us.” “I believe you Howie. I believe you.” |
