Brian, Kevin, & their brothers walked up the path to their campsites that sat side by side. They stopped & their laughter was soon subsided by a rustle in the leaves. They looked over to where the rustling came from. Soon a head peaked out of the leaves. It was a mountain lion. They dared not move & followed the cat with their eyes. The cat walked up to Kevin & started sniffing him. Then it lifted its legs & went to the bathroom on him. The cat left & the men breathed a sigh of relief. They started laughing at Kevin after what had happened.
“Hey,” he said, “The cat could have been hungry you know.”
A.J. & Nick walked in to A.J. site. They had decided to do A.J.’s campsite first since it was the smaller of the two & then they would do Nick’s site together with their mothers. They did this because Nick had the biggest site of them all seeing that he had the most fans. As they painted the outside of one of the cabins they heard growling noises. They both calmly climbed onto the roof of the cabin & waited for something to happen. Soon a man appeared with a police dog on a leash. He apologized for scaring them & said he was just training the dog. They accepted the apology & climbed down they continued their work until it was time for lunch. |
