| Chapter 4 |
| I heard someone enter my room. The person laid down next to me. I felt soft hands push the strands of hair out of my face. I didn’t stop; I couldn’t stop. Through my tears I could make out Sarah’s beautiful face. Her hand brushed tears away from my face & her face came close to mine. Our lips met in a sweet kiss. My tears stopped & I focused on the kiss. I never wanted it to end, but when it did I wanted another kiss. “Take off your shirt & lie in your back.” She whispered. I did as she asked. She softly began to rub my back & I fell asleep. When I woke, Sarah was sleeping next to me. I kissed her check & then her lips. Her eyes opened & she kissed me back. My arms slid around her waist & her arms were wrapped around my neck. We pulled away from each other breathless. It had been so long since I had shared a moment like this together. We both got up & Sarah went to her room. I got dressed & went to go check on her. She was in the bed. Her face was pale as a ghost. “Sarah are you all right?” “I feel so weak. It comes & goes from time to time. Sometimes I am perfectly fine with a lot of energy, but most of the time I am like this, sick & weak.” I felt so bad for her. I looked over & saw that Sunny was still asleep next to her. “Howie can you do me a favor?” “Yes.” “Could you take Sunny somewhere today, please.” |
