| I sat on the beach with my friend Howie. He had helped me when I lost Vavranta, my alien child. Howie had lost his son, Darviant, the same day. Our mothers are of Benovian decent making us Benivas. We are the last males left aside from Howie’s son who was five & had no clue of it. Our wounds had healed over the years. Today, we decided to walk to a cove we had found the other day. That’s where we were now. Ten years without them was hard, & I wish they were here with us right now. “Hey Kevin” “Yeah” “Do you think we will ever see them again?” “I don’t…” I started when I felt something. Howie did too. “Show yourself.” We said in unison. Four beings appeared. Three females & one male were standing there. Two we recognized. The others we didn’t, but we knew who they were. “Well, well, well if it isn’t Howie & Kevin, two of the last three Benivas left.” Angel taunted as a smile crept over her lips. “What do you want?” I asked. “Why Kevin, you do want to see your daughter again don’t you?” “Yeah, but I see her already. She’s right behind you as well as Howie’s son.” “You are very observant. We have come to make a deal with the two of you.” “What kind of deal?” Howie asked. |
