| Chapter 4 |
| “Kevin, don’t you think she should sleep.” “I tried. She wants Darviant.” I led her to him. She gently shook him. When he woke they spoke in the ancient Benovian language. Kevin & I understood very little of it, but we knew what it was & what it sounded like. Darviant slid over & let Vavranta lay next to him. They both slept. It was really weird, but they were affectionate towards each other, but didn’t want to get married. I turned toward Kevin. “Kevin, what are we going to do?” “I don’t know. Kristin flipped when I told her. She told me that if feel like I should save Vavranta she won’t stand in my way.” “I told Darviant that I was going to show him Orlando. He said Vavranta & him used to dream about visiting Earth. I guess they were so young they don’t remember when we used to live with Brian because doctors thought we were crazy.” “I guess not.” “You know probably the best thing we could do is call our moms’. They have Benovian minds too. They might help us to make a decision.” We called our moms’ & decided that we would meet tomorrow when we got to Orlando. Kevin left & I felt someone in my room. I hate it when they snoop around invisible. It’s a good thing I know when they are here I thought. “Come out. I know you’re here” Angel & Daisy appeared. “Why is it whenever you two show you want something.” “We can’t look at our children Howie. This might be the last time we get to see them sleep together. It’s a shame they are going to die. After all Vavranta is pregnant & Darviant is the father. A whole family gone. What a shame.” “If you want me to pity them you’re wrong. I know what you want & I don’t know if you’re going to get it. If you don’t leave us alone I’ll hide Darviant & not give you what you want.” The two women left. I went to Kevin & told him what had happened. He wasn’t happy. Brian came in & told us we had to leave for the arena. “OK, Rok we’ll see you in a few.” Kevin said. I turned to Kristin. “Krist, do you think you can watch Vavranta & Darviant while we do the show tonight?” “Yeah I can.” |
