| (Howie’s View) I found out that Kevin & his wife also had a van so we decided that we should take both of them. Kristen, Kevin, Christie, the kids, & I would be in one van & the rest took the other van with all of the food, clothing, & other accessories. The Litrells were going to take care of the puppies. We transferred everything & packed up the other stuff in the van Nick, Brian, & A.J. were sharing. Kevin made them promise not to destroy his van & he handed the keys to Brian. I made them promise not to eat all the food & handed them a walkie-talkie so we could communicate between vans. They promised. I hopped into the driver seat of my van & Kevin got into the passenger side. Kristen & Christie sat behind the kids & the kids sat behind us. I took a deep breath & started the van. “Howie how long have you had this van,” Kristen asked. “About a week. These people probably know I drive a corvette so I traded it in. Besides this was so much bigger & I could carry everything in it.” I answered. “I have another question where do you sleep?” “We sleep while someone is driving or we stop at a rest stop & one of us keeps watch.” Christie answered. I looked back at Kara & Kevin Jr. they were playing with their toys. I smiled & turned back to the road. This is going to be on heck of a ride I thought. |
