Members of the sub-culture seem to be accepted within the general community. Most Masters appear to be employed. While the homesteads appear to be isolated, they are subsumed within the general neighborhood.
The sub-culture appears to have only marginal interest in extending their activities outside their subculture to individuals not fully integrated into the subculture. They do not, for example, sell sex slaves, even older and therefore less desirable ones, to non-members of the community, although they will sell sex slaves into the commercial sex industry. Most madams do run limited prostitution activities, which focus on the business community and on co-opting potential critics of the lifestyle but the madams seem use the pedophile daughters in this sex trade rather than the sex slaves. Pedophile madams claim that their customers include business and political notables, religious leaders, and numerous law enforcement/criminal justice personnel-- mostly people who need to be co-opted or blackmailed by the subculture to protect and maintain the subculture. Young Masters will often prostitute their sisters (pedophile daughters) with their schoolmates or, on occasion, in street prostitution. The baby whorehouses maintained by the sub-culture are staffed exclusively by sex slaves and are reserved for members of the sub-culture and a few very trusted or heavily blackmailed members of the general community; these whorehouses are not available to the general public.
The sub-culture appears to avoid child pornography because of the current media and law enforcement emphasis in this area, although there are claims that many of the sex slaves are sold into the pornography industry when they are no longer needed for breeding.
There is a hint that pedophile daughters and sex slaves may be temporarily contracted, on a day-by-day basis, to sex service professionals for use in mommy-daughter three-way sex play or in infantile sex play. For example, a madam may provide a child on loan to "play doctor" with an adult male who role-plays being a young child himself.
Adult Masters are employed, but may not always have strong work ethics and may take lots of time off from work. Emphasis is placed on gaining employment at any level within police and criminal justice institutions in order to (a) protect the subculture community from exposure or prosecution, (b) provide negative reinforcement for delinquent daughters, wives, and slaves and to convince all that resistance is futile, and (c) limit or remove threats from rejected recruits, from individual researchers and investigators, and from other law-enforcement agencies. One pedophile madam claimed to be the wife of a FBI agent and weapons trainer.
Education is not valued for females but is often valued for young Masters. Some pedophile daughters and young Masters attend school, but others are exclusively home schooled. Pedophile daughters might attend school and participate in community activities (i.e. organized sports) wherever the subculture has significant control within these institutions. Young Masters apparently often attend school and are often full and open participants in organized sports, community organizations and social activities. Participation in these outside activities reinforces the perception by pedophile daughters and young Masters that the pedophile and incest subculture is accepted within the greater society. Sex slaves are never educated in any way, other than by watching television.
