I know, I know. Man, Perry County seems like such a happenin' place! Well, it is particularly on New Year's Eve with the traditional boat dropping at the stroke of midnight in Liverpool. (Again, just watch out for falling bullets.) After all that fun one has to eat something. Well, you've got a choice of two nearby diners to choose from. My money is on Angie's Diner. I think they wash their silverware on an annual basis. There's also plenty of shopping to be done. OK, there really isn't. You can purchase fireworks at the Fireworks Store along Rt 15... right next to the rotting wooden structure. And there is the Susqehanna Trading Post where I suppose you can purchase beaver pelts and other outdoorsy crap. |

Scarier patrons who don't take too kindly to strangers. Religious audio cassettes are placed at the entrance to convert heathen fools like myslef. |

And once you are done eating and shopping you can frequent Perry County's #1 industry (the sex industry) to unwind. There are three Adult World porn shops along the Rt. 15/Rt. 322 corridor through eastern Perry County for all those lonely truckers driving through from Harrisburg to upstate New York. And for those who have a finnicky sex drive there is always TJ's Lasting Impressions, the number one swingers club in central Pennsylvania featuring the largest roman hot tub in Pennsylvania... or so I've been told. Honestly! Minors are even welcome into the swinger's club according to the sign in the picture below (School Bus Stop). And after a hard night of swinging and sexing it up with somebody else's spouse you can always unwind and spend the night at the luxurious half-star Purdy Motel nearby. |
