Saint Louis University, Madrid, Spain, June - August 2001. Achieved a high level of proficiency in the Spanish language taking classes taught all in Spanish and living with a Spanish family.

Leadership Experience

International Business Club - Vice President (9/01-5/02), organize programs on the Geneseo Campus to increase student knowledge about international business and globalization.

Phi Beta Lambda National Business Club - President, Geneseo Chapter (9/00-6/01), lead club of over 50 members in community service activities, business education programs, and bringing in experts from various business careers as guest speakers. In the past held offices of Secretary and Committee Chair.

Golden Key International Honor Society - Treasurer (9/00-6/01), organizes and participates in events to help local charities including Big Brothers Big Sisters and Adopt a Family among others. Manage a budget of over $4,000.

Political Affairs Club - President (9/99-10/00), organized debates and a trip to Washington, DC to raise political awareness on the Geneseo campus.

Geneseo College Senate - Senator (Spring 1999), represented approximately 300 students in matters of college policy.

Work Experience

Substitute Teacher, West Irondequoit Central School District, (5/01-6/01). Managed a classroom teaching a variety of subjects at Dake Junior High School including Science, Special Education, Mathematics, Physical Education, and Social Studies.

Website Developer, Roseland Waterpark (1/01-3/01). Build and maintain a website for Roseland Waterpark. This required understanding and writing HTML code and creating content and animating and editing graphics and images that would be used on the site. I am now working as a contractor for The Gain Company on this site.

Office Manager and Leader-Mentor, Geneseo Organization for Leadership Development (9/00-6/01). Oversee staff of 13 Leader-Mentors and GOLD Leadership Center in implementing effective leadership programs for the Geneseo campus.

Lead Campus Representative, CollegeImpact.com (7/99-12/00). Hire, train, and manage a marketing team at my campus to promote VarsityBooks.com, a national Internet textbook seller, and in the future additional companies. Attended national training conferences. Marketed the company at other campuses out-of-state.

Analytical Services Agent, SchoolCentral Program, The Sutherland Group, Ltd., Analytical Services Division (5/00-8/00). Built brand awareness and marketed Internet and training services for HighWired.com. Researched bidding processes of school districts nationwide.

Telecoverage Agent, Xerox Agent Program, The Sutherland Group, Ltd., Major Accounts Division.(6/99-8/99). Contacted decision-makers at businesses throughout the US generating leads for local Xerox sales agents.
