Opened: Open: not closed (shut), exposed, uncovered, unconcealed, unfolded, bare, free from obstruction, unrestricted, allowing entrance, passage, accessable. Water uncovered, unfolded (opened) the earth and exposed a barren surface as it carried stones, gravel, sand, dust and plants away.
