Thou didst cleave the earth with rivers. Habakkuk 3:9

Thou didst [baqa..to (cleave), (to) cleave asunder, (to) be cleft (asunder), to become cleft, cut, (cut, cutteth) out, rip (up), be ripped up, (to) rend, rend asunder, (be) rent, (asunder), hatch, open, tear, divide, be divided, break (through, into, forth, out, up, into pieces), be broken (up, in pieces), be ready to burst, (make a, be made) breach, win. Interinear. Split.] cleave the [erets..earth freq. land freq. field, ground, country, them that dwell in a country, nation, common, world, way.] earth with [nahar..stream, river, the Nile, Euphrates, flood, the sea, prosperity.] rivers. Hab 3:9

The earth was cleaved (asunder)..The earth was cleft..The earth was cut (out)..The earth was ripped (up)..The earth was rent (asunder)..The earth was hatched..The earth was opened..The earth was torn..The earth was divided..The earth was broken (into)..Earth was broken from the earth..The earth was broken up..The earth was broken into pieces..The earth was ready to burst.

Cleave, cleft: split, chop, break, or come apart, esp. along the line of cleavage or grain, split asunder (apart), division.

Cleave, cleft:
Sediment laden water chopped, and split, and broke the earth, and earth was separtaed from earth..Rocks and stones and boulders cracked and split open along their lines of grain, as they were continually pounded with rocks and stone and gravel within the
falling, flowing waters.

Cleft: split, fissure, crack, chasm, opening made by cleaving,  indentation. [Indentation: dent in edge or surface. Dent: hollow in surface..Chasm: deep (cleft, crack, fissure, opening ravine in the earth or in rock), abyss,]

Cleft:
Earth and rock split and cracked, opening up deep fissures, chasms (gorges and ravines) on the earth and within rocks. Water tunnelled beneath the earth washing away earth and rock, and earth caved in, and dents and hollows appeared on its surface.

Cut: trim, prune, pare, sever, wound, carve, make way by dividing or cutting something with edges, or points of sharp instruments (objects) or by pressure, open up, lay open, penetrate or divide by cutting, cut in two, divide (in two, into pieces), detach (by cutting), disconnect, set (loose, adrift), reduce, decrease, shape by cutting. [Cutter: tool, or person that cuts.]

Cut:
Water cut into the earth, and water cut into rock, and the earth was severed (wounded) as it was pruned and trimmed, and edges were pared from the rocks..Grooves were carved in rocks, as water dragged stones across them..A way was made for the flowing waters as the earth was cut by pressure (force) with the sharp, and pointed edges, of broken stone and sticks..The earth was opened, and lay open, as it was penetrated and divided, by the cutting action of the sediment laden waters..Earth and rock were cut into pieces and detached, and set adrift in the swirling waters..The earth was reduced and decreased as the cutter cut into its surface and transported its silt away.

Ripped: Rip: split by tearing, act of ripping, violently (forcefully) tear or cut something (away), make long tears and cuts in, slash.

Ripped:
Earth and rock split open and long cuts appeared earth and it rock as the earth was violently torn,  ripped and slashed, by the cutting action of water.

Rent: (Large) tear, fissure. [Fissure: long narrow cleft (crack).]

Rent:
Sediment laden water carved long narrow
clefts, fissures (cracks) in rocks and in the earth.

Hatched: Opening in something. [Hatch: cause to emerge.]

Water ran down over mountains and water ran into earth and the water emerged from springs, and from
fountains (geysers), upon the earth.

Opened: Open: not closed (shut), exposed, uncovered, unconcealed, unfolded, bare, free from obstruction,  unrestricted, allowing entrance, passage, accessable.

Water
uncovered, unfolded (opened) the earth and exposed a barren surface as it carried stones, gravel, sand, dust and plants away. Water tunnelled passages within the ground, and left opened caves; and water containing acids ate holes within the rocks.
