I never expected it to be so difficult to find a
standard schnauzer. We have been actively
looking for many months but have been
unable to locate a dog within reasonable (a
day's) driving distance. I find the idea of
buying one without seeing the kennel and
meeting the breeder as well as the puppy
beforehand and then having him/her shipped,
as some breeders have suggested, a bit
disturbing.
