HOW TO HELP
There are many ways to help Friends in Need Companion Animal Rescue!

You can donate any sum of money.  These funds will go to help any dog we rescue that needs extra medical attention, or to purchase medical supplies, food, or gas to take dogs to appointments, adoption fairs, and foster homes.  Please email us for information on where to send a check, or where we will be so you can meet us, our dogs, and deliver it in person.

We also need Volunteers!
Volunteering for Friends in Need Companion Animal Rescue does not necessiarly mean that you have to walk dogs. We are constantly on the look out for new skills and people that have a bit of time to spare.

Please email us for a Volunteer Application form.

We are also frequently in need of the following items:
-DOG CRATES  All sizes, both the "Vari-Kennel" plastic type and the wire crate type.
-Beds, blankets and towels
-Dog Bowls (we prefer ceramic, glass or stainless steel as they are easier to clean than plastic)
-Leashes and Collars.  We welcome used items in working condition!
-Dog Food.  We try to up the health of dogs in our care by feeding them very nutritious foods.  Brands we use include Nature's Variety, Wellness, Innova, Flint River Ranch, Eagle Pack, and any fresh raw diet for dogs.  These brands are available at local pet stores including Horizon Pet Shop on Anderson Mill and 183, Bark 'n Purr on Burnet Rd., and Rivers 'n Reefs on Congress.  We believe nutrition is the keystone to the health and happiness of pets (and people), and have decided to strictly adhere to certain parameters for the foods we accept.  If you are in doubt about a brand of food you would like to donate, please contact us by email.

HOLD AN EVENT ON OUR BEHALF!
We often have Events that are done on our behalf by caring people in the community. The event could be a bake sale, fashion show or anything else that you come up with.

Please send us an email to discuss your idea further!

Our greatest need is for FOSTER HOMES!  Without foster homes, we cannot rescue dogs!  For more information on becoming a foster home, please look at our web page "Foster Home Information"
