Apple Surprise

Ingredients:

Apple
You favorite candy, toppings, etc.
Peanut Butter

Get all ingredients together. Cut apple skin. (or leave it)
Put peanut butter on a plate. Roll apple in it. Sprinkle candy, topping, etc.
Eat!

 

Ants on a log

Ingredients:

Celery
Peanut butter
Raisin

Spread peanut butter on celery. Add raisins. Enjoy

Banana and Honey Spread

Ingredients:

2 tablespoons butter
1 tablespoon honey
2 ripe bananas
4 large slices bread

Mix butter and honey together in a bowl. Mash bananas on a plate using a fork. Add banana to butter and honey mixture. Mix well.
Spread on bread.

 

Bunches of Munches

Ingredients:

4 crackers
2 pieces of pepperoni
2 small pieces of cheese

Put the pepperoni on the crackers. Then put the cheese on top of the pepperoni. Put a cracker on top.

Chocolate Dipped Pretzels

Ingredients:

Baking chocolate
Pretzels
Mixing bowl
Wax paper
Cookie sheet

Melt the chocolate, in a mixing bowl, in the microwave.
When the chocolate is melted, Dip the pretzels in the chocolate till well covered. Cover cookie sheet with the waxed paper.
Lay pretzels on the cookie sheet and wait till they dry. Enjoy.

 

Chipmunks

Ingredients:

1 large mixing bowl
1 fork
4 tablespoons of evaporated milk
3 cups confectioners' sugar
Black or red string licorice

Measure evaporated milk into the mixing bowl. Mix confectioners sugar slowly into the milk using the fork until all the sugar has been added. Knead it with your hands until the mixture becomes smooth and easy to handle. Shape mixture to resemble chipmunks. Use licorice for whiskers and eyes. You can also add a few drops of food coloring to change the color of your chipmunks. Makes approximately 10 small chipmunks.

Delicious Strawberry Drink

Ingredients:

1 12oz. can of lemonade, thawed
1 12oz. can of pineapple-orange-strawberry juice, thawed
1 16oz. package of sliced strawberries, thawed
Ice cubes

Pour premade juices into a large container & stir together. Puree strawberries in blender- add to juice & stir in. Crush ice in a blender & add to mixture. Serve cool & enjoy!

 

Dirt Pudding

Ingredients:

Gummy worms (as many as you like)
Chocolate chips (as many as you like)
M&M's (as many as you like)
Vanilla pudding (1 cup)
Chocolate pudding( 1 cup)
Plastic cups

Mix Chocolate pudding and Vanilla pudding together. Pour into cups. 
Add the Chocolate chips and the M & M's. Stir again. Put the gummy worms in. Mix very good. Put the cups in the fridge for about 1 hour
Eat and enjoy!

Eazy Pizza

Ingredients:

10-6 Tortilla shell
Pizza sauce
Shredded Mozzarella cheese

Lay out  tortilla shell. Spread 1-2 teaspoons of pizza sauce on tortilla shell.
Put the cheese on the pizza. Put in microwave for 30-45 seconds.Yum!

 

Extra Special Eggs

Ingredients:

1 cup Peanut Butter
2/3 cup Powdered Milk
2 to
4 tablespoons of  Honey 
1 pound Milk chocolate (for melting)

Mix well together, and chill. Make into egg shapes, or can be put in peanut butter cup mold or papers. Dip in Melted Chocolate coating. Put in Freezer for a few minutes.

Friendly Fruit Salad

Ingredients:

2 cans pineapple chunks
1 can sliced peaches
1 can pears
4 bananas, sliced
4 apples, peeled and sliced
1 cup grapes
1 quart strawberries
1 cup nuts
1 cup raisins
1 cup marshmallows

Drain cans of fruit. Peel and slice bananas and apples. Slice strawberries.
Combine remaining ingredients. Sprinkle with cinnamon.
Toss and serve. Delicious!

 

Frozen Fruit Cup

Ingredients:

1 cup Chunky or Regular Apple Sauce
10 oz Package frozen strawberries, thawed
11 oz Can mandarin orange segments, drained
1 cup Grapes, if desired
2 tablespoons Orange juice concentrate

In medium bowl, combine all ingredients. Spoon fruit mixture into individual dishes or paper cups. Freeze until firm. Remove from freezer about 30 minutes before serving.

Green Smoothies

Ingredients:

2 cups ice cubes
5 heaping scoops vanilla frozen yogurt
2 cups of orange juice
1/2 peeled banana
1 teaspoon of green food coloring

Put the ice cubes, frozen yogurt, banana, orange juice, and food coloring into the blender. Blend on high speed for about 20 seconds or until the mixture is smooth. Carefully pour the green smoothies into four glasses and serve them to your friends and family.

 

Go Fishing Snack

Ingredients:

1/4 cup cream cheese
2 drops blue food coloring
2 handfuls of pretzels (fishing poles)
2 handfuls of goldfish crackers

Stir the cream cheese and food coloring until no white is showing. Spread the cream cheese onto a small plate to make a pond or a lake. Spread the goldfish around your pond or lake. Take a pretzel stick and "Go Fishing". Dip the pole into the blue cream cheese of your lake and catch a fish cracker. Then eat it!

Happy Face Sandwiches

Ingredients:

Bread
Peanut butter
Raisins
Chocolate chips or colored candies

Spread peanut butter on one side of bread - open faced. Have child make eyes, nose, mouth and hair from other items provided. Encourage kids to be creative and eat what they create.

 

Homemade Orange Pops

Ingredients:

2 and 1/2 tablespoons Orange flavor Jell-O powder
1/4 cup Granulated Sugar
1 cup Boiling Water
1 cup Orange Juice
2/3 c Pureed Fresh Fruit

Place Jell-O powder and sugar in a bowl. Add boiling water; stir until
dissolved. Add orange juice and pureed fruit.

Pour into pop molds and freeze.

Ice Cream Cookies

Ingredients:

Cookies (twice the amount of cookies wanted)
Ice-cream (Flavors Vary)
Chocolate chips

Take 1 cookie and put ice-cream on it. Put chocolate chips in the icecream that is on the cookie. Take 1 other cookie and if wanted a big and sweet sandwich put ice cream on it as well. If not keep it plain and stick it on the cookie. Eat and Enjoy!

 

Itsy Bitsy Party Pizza

Ingredients:

English Muffin
Pizza Sauce
Shredded Cheese

Take 2 halves of English muffin and spread with pizza sauce. Top with the cheese. Heat in a toaster oven until the cheese melts.

Jellybean Nests

Ingredients:

2 cups miniature marshmallows
1/4 cup butter or margarine
1 (6-ounce) package (4 cups) chow mien noodles
Jelly beans

In 2-quart saucepan combine marshmallows and butter; cook over low heat, stirring occasionally, until melted (6 to 8 minutes). Stir in noodles until very well coated. With buttered fingers, press mixture on bottom and up sides of each cup of buttered 12-cup muffin pan. Refrigerate at least 2 hours or until firm. Remove from cups; fill with jelly beans.

 

Jello Yogurt

Ingredients:

2 small boxes of Jell-O
8 oz yogurt in complimentary flavor
2 cups boiling water

Add 2 cups boiling water to Jell-O. Add in yogurt. Refrigerate like any other Jell-O. 

To make Jigglers, Add in 2 envelopes of unflavored gelatin to Jell-O and boiling water and pour into pan

Kool-Aid Punch

Ingredients:

2 packages orange kool-aid
1-2 liter bottle 7-up

Mix kool-aid as directed on package. Put into punch bowl. Add 7-up and stir to mix.

 

Kid's Trail Mix

Ingredients:

4 cups Chex cereal
1/2 cups dried fruit (chopped)
1/2 cup raisins
1/2 cup peanuts
1 cup M & M's

Put into a large ziploc bag and shake to mix.

Lemon Tree Mints

Ingredients:

1/3 cup Soft butter
1/3 cup Light corn syrup
1/2 teaspoon Salt
1 teaspoon Lemon flavoring (or use strawberry, etc.)
3 1/2 cup ( 1 lb ) sifted confectioner's sugar
Large bowl
Wooden spoon
Paper plates

Measure all ingredients into the large bowl. Stir with wooden spoon until it becomes too stiff.
Then knead it until the dough is smooth.

This is a no-cook recipe the children can mix with their hands. Flavor it with the liquid flavorings in the supermarket.  If you want, you can instead divide it into
three portions and add a few drops of food coloring to tint it. Yellow, Red and Green. Then knead a small amount of flavoring into each one. This recipe makes about 1 1/2 lbs of candy.

Give each child a paper plate. Give each child a portion of dough on his or her plate. The children can pinch off pieces, roll them into balls, and press them lightly
with a fork to make a fancy butter mint. Children who cannot roll the candy into balls can make snakes, cut the snakes into pieces, and press the pieces with a fork.
They might eat the pieces with the fork, but that's ok too. Leave the mints on the plates and refrigerate them for 30 minutes, until they become firm. Cover with plastic wrap and keep them in the refrigerator.

 

Lizards

Ingredients:

1/2 cup Peanut butter
12 oz Marshmallows
4 drops Green food coloring
4 cup Rice Krispies
Cheerios or Corn flakes
Raisins

Heat peanut butter with marshmallows in a large saucepan over low heat until melted. Add green food coloring and mix in. Pour in cereal and stir quickly. Spray 8" pan with a non-stick cooking spray. Then pour contents into pan. Allow to cool in fridge, then cut into long thin strips, about 1" x 4". Cut each raisin in half and stick both on one end of each strip to make the lizard's eyes.

Mud Pudding

Ingredients:

Instant chocolate pudding
Gummy worms
Oreo cookies

Mix pudding, as directed on the box, pour pudding into disposable foam coffee cups, fill cups half full. Put 1 gummy worm in each cup. Add more pudding to each cup until almost full. Crush Oreo cookies, and sprinkle on top of the pudding, filling the cup.

 

Muddy Buddies

Ingredients:

Chex Cereal
Powered Sugar
Peanut Butter
Melted Chocolate

Melt Chocolate. Put Cereal in a plastic bag with melted Chocolate. Then put in Powered Sugar and shake well.

Nutty Crunch

Ingredients:

5 cups crunchy cereal, like Kix or Captain Crunch
1 cup salted peanuts
1 cup raisins
1 cup banana chips
1 small pkg vanilla pudding (not instant)
1/2 cup honey 1/2 cup peanut butter

Lightly butter a jelly roll pan. Mix first four ingredients in a large bowl. Mix dry pudding mix and honey in a small saucepan. Heat to boiling over medium heat, stirring constantly; reduce heat. Boil and stir 1 minute, then remove. Stir in peanut butter. Pour over cereal mixture; toss until evenly coated. Spread in pan and refrigerate 30 minutes. Break into bite-size pieces. Store snack in covered container at room temperature or in refrigerator. Makes about 10 cups of crunchy snack.

 

Nacho Party

Ingredients:

16 to 20 plain tortilla chips
1 1/4 cups shredded cheddar cheese
Chopped olives (optional)
Cooked bacon pieces (optional)
Sliced green onion (optional)
Dairy sour cream or taco sauce

Spread tortilla chips in a single layer in a 15xl0xl-inch baking pan. Sprinkle cheese over chips. Sprinkle with olives, bacon pieces, and green onion, if you like. Bake in an oven at 400 degrees. for 2 to 3 minutes or till cheese melts. Transfer to a serving platter. Serve with sour cream or taco sauce.

Microwave Directions:
Arrange tortilla chips on a microwave-safe pizza plate; sprinkle cheese over chips. Sprinkle with olives, bacon, and onion. Microwave on 100% power (high) for 1 to 1 1/2 minutes or till cheese melts.

Orange Chill

Ingredients:

1/2 cup cold orange drink
1/2 cup orange sherbet
3/4 cup cold ginger ale

Pour 1/4 cup of orange drink into 2 glasses. Add 1/4 cup of the sherbet into each glass. Add half of the ginger ale to each glass. Drink and enjoy.

 

Oatmeal Chocolate No-bake Cookies

Ingredients:

2 cups white sugar
1 stick of margarine
1/2 cup milk
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 cup peanut butter
2 tablespoons cocoa
3 cups of oatmeal

Mix first 3 ingredients in saucepan. Boil one minute. Remove from heat. Add remaining ingredients. Drop by tablespoon on wax paper and cool. Enjoy!

Popsicles

Ingredients:

1 package any flavor Kool-aid
1 package Jell-O
1 1/4 cups sugar
3/4 cups hot water
3/4 cold water

Mix dry ingredients together. Measure approximately 6 tablespoons dry ingredients into a mixing bowl - add hot water and cold water. Pour into popsicle molds and freeze. Remaining dry ingredients may be stored in an airtight container to make more popsicles at a later date.

 

Peanut Butter Roll Ups

Ingredients:

Bread (White or Wheat)
Smooth Peanut Butter
Jelly

Take the bread and cut the edges off. Put a little bit of jelly and peanut butter on the bread. Roll it up. Carefully cut the rollup into little pieces.

Quick Fruit Dip

Ingredients:

1 cup plain yogurt
Any fruits you like
Brown sugar

Cut up fruits, so they are dipping size. Mix yogurt and brown sugar well. Serve cooled, dip in fruit.

 

Quick and Easy Pizza Bread

Ingredients:

Tomato sauce ( or pizza sauce)
Shredded Mozzarella cheese
Pepperoni (optional)
Any other toppings
Bread or bagels

Take your bread or bagel and spread on the pizza sauce. Sprinkle on the cheese. Add any other toppings. Put in the microwave for 30 sec. on high.

Root Beer Float

Ingredients:

2 scoops of vanilla ice cream
1 can of root beer

Put ice cream in mug. Pour root beer over ice cream. Eat with spoon and straw.

Squashed Frogs

Ingredients:

1 Stick margarine
40 Large marshmallows (10 oz. bag)
5 Cups corn flakes cereal
1/2 Teaspoon vanilla (optional)
2 Teaspoons green food coloring

Melt margarine in large saucepan. Add marshmallows and cook over low heat, stirring constantly until melted and mixture is syrupy. Remove from heat. Add vanilla and green food coloring. Mix. Add corn flakes and M&Ms and mix until well coated and bright green. Drop from a tablespoon on a piece of wax paper and cool the globs.

 

Super Candy

Ingredients:

Hershey chocolate
Ground nuts
Caramel sauce
Rice Krispies

Put chocolate and caramel into bowl. Mix in nuts. Refrigerate. Sprinkle with Rice Krispies.

Tropical Fizzy Drink

Ingredients:

One scoop lime sherbet
2 T limeade concentrate
1-1/2 quarts club soda

Put one scoop of sherbet in cup. Pour limeade and club soda in cup.
Serve cold.

 

Tropical Fruit shake

Ingredients:

Juice from 1 lime
Juice from one orange
Vanilla extract (a couple of drops)
Half of a banana
1 ice cube

Mix all ingredients in a blender until creamy.

Ultimate Milkshake

Ingredients:

3 cups vanilla ice cream (or chocolate)
2 cups of milk
1/4 cup chocolate syrup
1/4 of a cup of chocolate malt Ovaltine

Mix all in blender for 30 seconds. Serve immediately for best results. Preparation time: 5-10 minutes.

Donuts
Ice cream

Carefully cut donut in half. Put ice cream on the bottom half. Top with the other donut half. Even aliens like this recipe.

Vegetable rollup

Ingredients:

1 flour tortilla
Sour cream
Tomato
Lettuce
Carrot
Salt and Pepper
Parsley flakes

Spread some sour cream on the tortilla. Add how many vegetables you would like. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Add parsley flakes. Roll it up.

 

Valentine Sundae

Ingredients:

Vanilla and Strawberry Ice Cream
Strawberry and Marshmallow Topping
Chocolate chips or Chocolate kisses
Maraschino Cherry and Red Sprinkles
Ice cream Scoop or spoon
Bowl

Put 3 scoops of ice cream in the bowl. Pour a topping over the Ice Cream.
Scatter chocolate chips or Kisses over the sundae. Top with a cherry or Red Sprinkles.

Wormy  Jell-O

Ingredients:

Green Jell-O
Gummy worms or gummy bears

Make the Jell-o according to the directions on the package. Add the gummy worms. Serve with whipped cream.

 

Wild Berry Splash

Ingredients:

3/4 cup cold milk
3 tablespoons frozen strawberries with syrup, thawed
2 tablespoons HERSHEY'S Syrup
2 tablespoons vanilla ice cream plus 1 scoop vanilla ice cream
2 tablespoons club soda
Crushed ice

Into blender container, place milk, strawberries, syrup and 2 tablespoons ice cream. Cover; blend on medium speed until smooth. Pour into tall glass filled with ice. Add club soda; stir. Top with scoop of ice cream; garnish with additional fruit, if desired. Serve immediately. One 12-ounce serving. 

VARIATIONS: Substitute the following fruits for the frozen strawberries:

FRESH STRAWBERRY SPLASH: 1/4 cup sweetened fresh strawberries

PEACH SPLASH: 1/3 cup canned peach slices or pieces, or 1/2 peeled fresh peach.

PINEAPPLE SPLASH: 2 slices canned or 1/4 cup crushed pineapple.

RASPBERRY SPLASH: 3 tablespoons frozen raspberries with syrup, thawed

Yummy Cinnamon Bread

Ingredients:

Sugar
Bread
Cinnamon
Butter

Toast the bread. Then butter it. Sprinkle cinnamon and sugar on it.

 

Yogurt Parfait

Ingredients:

2 cups chunked canned pineapple
1 cup frozen raspberries
3 cups vanilla yogurt
1 medium banana (peeled and sliced) 
1/3 cup chopped dates                                               
1/4 cup sliced toasted almonds
 
Place a tall glass on the table then add the pineapple, raspberries, dates, banana slices and yogurt in layers. Now sprinkle almonds all over the top.
